We Tried Long4Lashes and This is What We Thought!
Long4Lashes were generous enough to send me a care packages a few months ago. It included a wide range of products. There were a couple of items in the range that I have been using for years, namely a water-proof eye makeup remover, a hair strengthener and eyelash/eyebrow strengthener.
I have thinning hair, and after a consultation with my doctor 8 years ago Regaine/Rogaine was recommended. I have been using the product religiously since then. I am also relatively fair, particularly my eyelashes so started using Latisse about 5 years ago. I am also a regular gym goer, so waterproof mascara is a must. I have been using Clinique’s take the day off makeup remover for about 1000 years. Let’s just say that when it comes to these three products, I am as PRO as it gets.
Serum Stimulating Hair Growth
So basically, I set down my Regaine 3 months ago and started with the Long4Lashes version. In a word, this product is potent, and extremely effective. If I were to guess I would say that the dosage of active ingredient is higher in Long4Lashes, and therefore is much stronger in its effect. I have a ton of baby hair and I am thrilled.
The product is also gentle on my scalp a common concern with hair growth serums. Even with Regaine sometimes irritation and dryness can become an issue, specifically in the winter. I have not tried this product in the winter yet, but so far so good.
Eyelash Enhancing Serum
Once again, the active ingredient in this serum is much stronger than Latisse, and I can literally watch my eyelashes grow. Many people, like myself suffer from discoloration where the serum is applied, the skin turns a purplish tinge, the spidery veins on the eyelids also become more pronounced. To avoid this, it should be used on alternate days.
Liquid Eye Makeup Remover with Biotin
Water-proof eye makeup remover is a real pain, and so when you find the right one you generally hold onto it firmly. I have been using Clinique for years, and every time I try something new my eyes come away feeling greasy and irritated. This product was gentle on my eyes and extremely effective, I am not saying that I will convert to it, the Clinique is still a little lighter and just as effective, but it is a great product!
