We Need To Talk About Your Cotton Shirt!

Whether you got your shirt from Zara, Monse Maison or even Victoria Beckham it is ultimately a cotton shirt and you need to make it your own.

It may at this point feel like the most cliche yet important part of your Spring wardrobe. Everyone’s doing it, so you need to do it, but then again, everyone’s doing it so why should you …

Looking at the glass half full, we actually feel it could be a superb opportunity to show off your personal style. To distinguish your uniqueness and push your fashion envelope.

When showing off your style, sometimes it helps to have an anchor to ground your look such as a style staple that serves as a spring board. The cotton shirt is just that. Whatever you do, don’t wear it as is. Roll up those sleeve, open an extra few buttons from the top and bottom. Add a brooch or a collection of necklaces. Put your collar up and add statement earrings to highlight that jawbone.

What we do ask of you is not to style for the sake of fashion. Attempt to accentuate your favorite feature in your styling. Love the look of your waist in that skirt, knot your shirt. Remember that an attitude is also a feature that needs to be accentuated. Wanting to play the casual chic woman? Try an oversized shirt… Want to play a different role, close it all the way up and add a statement collar. The sky is the limit, or shall we say, your creativity is the real limit.
