We Didn’t Think It Would Take Off But It Did || The Shaggy Trend


Yes it’s true, a lot of the time we report on breaking trends that we see on the runways that we know deep down will never reach the high street or red carpet. Well we were wrong when it came to the shaggy trend. Feather details we could fathom, even a full skirt, but big, shaggy dresses we didn’t quite get, the only reference were perhaps Big Bird and The Cookie Monster on Sesame Street.

Well in the past few months, some of the most impressive red carpets have seen some serious shag and on some great fashionistas.

On a styling level…What advice can we ’shed’ hahah (sorry couldn’t help it!) Firstly, show skin secondly remind people that you aren’t really that size…
