Top 5 NYC Hotspots To Hit During Fashion Week

New York’s hottest week (both figuratively and literally) is upon us, and that can only mean one thing: you’ve got to hit the hottest spots.

Here are the top 5 places to be seen during NYC fashion week.

1 || Sant Ambroeus

It’s not Milan fashion week, but Italian food is still on the menu. Sant Ambroeus is a hotspot frequented by locals, models and celebrities alike, and a meal here will get you up to speed on exactly why. Hot branches include their Upper East Side, Soho, and West Village locations, all serving their delicious cacio e pepe spaghetti and penne arrabiata. Go for the food, but stay for the model and ultimate street style sightings -- especially if you’re in outdoors seating.

2|| Mercer Kitchen

Chef Jean George’s crafted culinary skills are to thank at Mercer Kitchen, located on the ground floor of the star studded Mercer Hotel. Enjoy the classic Mercer burger, truffle pizza, and kabocha squash ricotta toast amidst a beautifully designed eatery with the transparent NYC sidewalk as part of its ceiling design. But be sure to keep an eye out -- you very likely will be dining with the hottest celebs by your side, who are most probably also hotel guests for the week.

3 || Bar Pitti

Munch on some of the city’s best pasta at Bar Pitti, a quaint yet widely popular West Village eatery with a trendy outdoors section provided during summer. The pappardelle with creamy tomato sauce is one of the eatery’s signature dishes, which boasts multitudes of flavors that mesh so well with one another. But like all places to hit during fashion week, the atmosphere is a considerable factor of choosing where to dine, and Bar Pitti certainly checks all the boxes with its renowned clientele and frequent celeb visits.

4 || Tao

The food at Tao is guaranteed to blow your mind, but the decor will really leave you speechless in both their up and downtown locations. Walk into what you initially think would be any ordinary Asian fusion restaurant to find a multilevel, dimly lit, club-like atmosphere with a giant Buddha statue as the restaurant’s main attraction. Be sure to order the satay of Chilean seabass, tuna crispy rice and spicy chilli chicken, which you’re guaranteed to enjoy amidst the upbeat music playing in this ever-trendy space.

5 || Catch

Also providing a nightlife atmosphere with great music, a rooftop, and even their very own club on the top floor come nighttime, Catch is another spot you’ll want to be seen during fashion week. The name makes it quite obvious that the joint is a fusion seafood restaurant, menu highlights being the MRC sushi roll, truffle tuna and salmon tartare as well as a decadent lobster mac and cheese. While the food may be some of the best dishes you ever taste, this trendy eatery/club also warrants a visit this week due to, yet again, the frequent model and celeb visits.
