The Alexandre Vaultier Dress That Keeps On Going
Earlier in the week Russian model Irina Shayk attended the Opera on Ice Intimissimi event in Italy, dressed in a dress that we have seen on the red carpet a number of times already, which makes us wonder. Of all the dresses out there to choose from, it is interesting that this dress just keeps on going.
The crossover floor-length Alexandre Vauthier gown in emerald green this time, was initially seen on the couture catwalk this July, worn by Bella Hadid in a silver grey. A few weeks later, we reported that Cara Delevingne had worn it, which of course gave us lots of fodder for comparison.
This time around, the voluptuous Victoria’s Secret model, who has been the face of the Intimissimi brand for over a decade appeared on the red carpet in an emerald green version (the better to show off her green eyes and emerald engagement ring my dear).
Could it be that the dress is so beautiful, yet unimposing that it allows each personality to shine in her very own way.Wore by Bella on the runway, the charismatic 21 year old ( btw happy belated birthday Bella) gave it a very Old Hollywood flair.
Cara Delevingne on the other hand looked a little lost in it, given her tiny frame. Her stunning features made up for it though and infused the frock with some unique rock and roll chic that Cara is a natural at carrying off.
This time round Irina Shayk plays the role of the modern bombshell perfectly. Her generous bust, slim waist and endless legs reminding us of why she has been paid handsomely by Intimissimi for the past ten years :)
