A New York Based fashion designer, CD Greene is an artist through and through. A Fine Arts major, Greene is also into sculpting, painting, and graphics. His designs are a tribute to old Hollywood glamour featuring slinky sheaths, ruffles and paillette, thus portraying an air of mystery and seduction that is favoured by the most influential people around.
Costarellos Christos launched his brand in Greece in 1998. From the very beginning Costarellos worked with an exclusive clientele who appreciated his impeccable tailoring and finish. Inspired by the ancient Greek goddesses, Costarellos captured the female ethos while breathing new life into ancient designs to create movement and flow.
A New Yorker with Spanish roots, Ottaviano brought back the ancient arts of crochet and hand beading through her designs by fabulously integrating the traditional with the modern. Graduating from such prestigious school as the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York and Central Saint Martins in London, she worked alongside fashion giants such as Marc Jacobs, Oscar de la Renta, and Marchesa.
Francisco Leal and Karen Daccarett are a Columbian husband and wife designer duo who met as fashion students in Milan. They established their brand in 2008 to design striking evening wear with ultra feminine silhouettes that integrate the Latin heritage while maintaining fresh minimalistic touches. Their success is attributed to the flexibility of their designs; where a dress can be converted into a skirt, thus making their pieces worth the investment. Their claim to fame comes from the fact that their designs became a favourite of the Columbian First Lady.
Alexandra O’Neill launched her label Markarian last year attracting the attention of the likes of Emily Ratajkowski and Emma Roberts. Her collection featured floaty dresses and separates inspired by the sea, space and the cosmos, thus the name Markarian which is the name of a galaxy. Her feminine and ethereal pieces incorporate romantic and vintage elements and motifs that are painted by O’Neill herself.
Named after her daughter, Safiyaa was founded by Daniela Karnuts in 2011 out of a need to create a wardrobe reflective of her sophisticated and polished career in Fashion Media. In an atelier that offers made-to-order products handcrafted by a skilled team of artisans, Safiyaa’s designs celebrate femininity with unabashed confidence in striking silhouettes boasting lush fabrics and rich colors. The goal is to create a piece that is just like the woman wearing it; beautiful on the inside out.
