Oprah Had Something To Say About The Royal Wedding!
Oprah not only graced the cover of British Vogue recently but she took this opportunity to express what she felt during the royal wedding. It wasn’t of course the first time that Oprah gets asked that question but we guess she saw it coming … Never one to disappoint; Oprah quoted Rev. Michael Curry who was obviously the highlight of the day by saying “Reverend Curry was right! Anything is possible through the power of love.” Oprah said.
Oprah, ever so endearing, explained to British Vogue that she had to make a last-minute change to her wedding outfit as she was worried it might look too white, which is an obvious wedding faux-pas, and she literally had to google ‘Can you wear white to a wedding?’ ‘No don’t risk it’ was the answer she got! Just can’t imagine Oprah having such insecurities like the rest of us.
Oprah admitted that she was shocked by the amount of deep emotions she felt that day as she was stepping into the grounds of Windsor Castle. She was immediately taken by the history and the legacy and she was proud for Meghan to be stepping into this new world and what she would be capable of doing through it.
“I can’t wait to see the goodness that will come from their union. Goodness that I know for sure will help change the way the world thinks about what is possible, even more than it already has.”
Rumour has it that Oprah reportedly met with Meghan’s mother Doria Ragland for six whole hours a few weeks before the wedding. Some speculate that Oprah may have secured herself an exclusive interview with the mother of the bride. Oprah however, never confirmed any of this.
