Off-White Opens Its First Store In The Middle East!
Guess who’s coming to town?? Well not exactly to our town but at least to a town nearby; a mere 3-hour flight away. You probably guessed it! Off-White opened their first flagship store in the Middle East in Dubai this week. The store opened in Dubai Mall at the newly opened extension of the prestigious Fashion Avenue section on the ground floor, alongside more than 150 luxury brands such as Alaïa, Loewe and Prada. The launch has been teased on Virgil Abloh’s account a while back and fans this side of the world were ecstatic.
The new store will be carrying some very exclusive items to the extent that some items are labelled “for display purpose only” such as the Nike x Off-White Air Jordan 1 sneakers. It will also display limited edition clothing and sneakers in addition to a capsule collection that is exclusive to the region in celebration of the opening of the store. Off-White’s Spring 2019 collection will be available for purchase, as well as ready-to-wear, leather goods, and accessories.
Off-White was launched in 2012 and has amassed a cult-like following to the extent that it was voted as the hottest brand in the world right now by Lyst. Offering prestigious and high-end streetwear, the band appeals to all age groups and is popular with Rihanna, Beyoncé, the Jenners and the Hadids. It has opened 25 stores worldwide with the last one being the Dubai store; and we have no doubt that this step is a milestone for the brand as it strengthens its presence in the Middle East by launching in the world’s busiest shopping center as well as launching in the world’s most affluent and highest spending regions.
