Lindsay Lohan Makes A Clean Comeback!!
It is clear that Lindsay Lohan is keen on making a clean comeback and not just on the screens. The 31 year old star has made regular headlines in previous years but for all the wrong reasons. Today, it seems that Lindsay Lohan is making a clean break from her troubled past and is embarking on something new….or rather many new things….beauty, fashion, jewellery and philanthropy to name a few.
Launching her new makeup and fashion lines seems to be the most logical thing for the star, her rationale explained as follows “I love lipstick, but I love lipstick as blush….But if I have a cream blush, I want to be able to use it on my lips and not worry about breaking out after. So, I developed one.”
Lohan has long been into fashion what with her collection of leggings which she launched a few years back, but she felt that back then she couldn’t dedicate herself to her designs as she was busy filming. She is currently working with a Dubai-based stylist to develop her clothing line which will be “closer to haute couture” she explains. She also confided that she has a jewellery collection in the making, in addition to her candles line which was inspired by the idea of doing a charity walk and using candles “to light the path”. Currently residing in Dubai Lohan is also working on an all-female movie project that will be set between Saudi Arabia, Dubai and Abu Dhabi. She also stated that she would love to start a foundation that would help “in uniting kids and families and giving them a light in their life”.
When asked about what has changed in Hollywood during her absence…”It’s an iPhone” she said. She explained that paparazzi were crazier prior to the invention of Instagram; however, now everyone’s documenting their littlest moves so the paparazzi don’t feel the need to harass celebrities as much. What’s still on her bucket list? To direct, in addition to achieving an Academy Awards presence to place her alongside the Hollywood giants she looks up to such as Elizabeth Taylor and Marlene Dietrich… and to allow her to simply say “I’m here and Thank You”.
