Jennifer Lawrence Tries a Seventies Look to Much Success
Talk about a 180 degree turn, and I guess that is the beauty of fashion. The ability to play a different role when you feel like it. That's what Jennifer Lawrence did, in the past 48 hours she played two very different roles, in Dior Couture no less. For the Bafta's the Oscar winner wore a black, period-inspired corset dress with creme organza shawl collar.
Less than 24 hours later the actress opted for a liberating seventies disco theme, at the premiere of her new movie Red Sparrow in London. Gone was the constraining corset, in its place a barely there halter top which showed off an impressive breast cleavage. The dress then falls into a full pleated skirt in a striped disco lurex cinched at the waist with a medley of skinny ropes.
How better to perfect the look than with a full head of unleashed curls, parted down the center to keep the center balance of the outfit, again a departure from the flat hair the night before. She sported a minimal, non-descript makeup which was probably a great idea. Jewelry-wise, the chunky statement ring worked well. We just feel bad about the long earrings that no one ended up seeing...Can you catch them?
