Arwa Al Banawi Fall ’16

Dubai Collections Season 1

Now into her third season, Arwa’s latest collection is a beautiful evolution of her modern design aesthetic. With maturity her shapes have become more fluid. Her language transformed from the loud boisterous prints of past seasons to a confident whisper of color combinations and relaxed silhouettes that speak volumes of her creative journey.

The underlying current of modern minimalism is in fact what defines Arwa. What people may have considered her niche, the structured suits, has now been proven to be one of many silhouettes up her sleeve.

Her Saudi Arabian heritage the back drop to her latest creative offerings. The rich beige, khaki and mustards of the desert woven into the collection with textures and fine details. The tassels and fringes of traditional clothing embellish her modern pieces. The Rykiel-esque fine-striped jerseys mimicking the terrain of her homeland.
