7 Celebrity Makeup Launches We Can’t Wait To Try!
After the ground-breaking success of Rihanna’s Fenty Beauty and Kylie Jenner’s line, more and more celebs are taking notice and following suit in an attempt at grabbing a bite of the beauty pie. We the consumers couldn’t be happier at this competitiveness with its abundance of luscious items to look forward to, but which could ultimately mean an increased beauty budget that we may or may not be ready for. But if JLo promises to launch her signature bronzer then I don’t think the budget will be an issue. Read below to find out the 7 new celebrity makeup launches we are so ready for.
1 || Jennifer Lopez x Inglot
Jennifer Lopez in collaboration with Inglot Cosmetics will be launching a 70-item beauty line that should include her world-famous bronzer as well as mascaras, lipsticks, eyelashes, blush, and eyeshadows. She will also launch the Freedom System Palette which will allow people to customise their own palettes with the shades of their choosing. This will launch April 26th with a sneak peak on April 17th.
2 || Gwen Stefani’s P8NT
One makeup launch we’re looking forward to is Gwen Stefani’s “P8NT” collection (pronounced paint). This will include everything from makeup to hair dyes, and will also include skincare with moisturisers and sunscreen as well as hair products. Nail polish and perfumes will also be among her items. So if you’re a die-hard fan of Stefani’s punk-pop beauty looks I’m sure you will not be disappointed.
3 || Victoria Beckham
Beckham revealed last month that she has a skincare line in the works that will include ‘her own color’ and will include creams as well as a perfume. Knowing Beckham’s penchant for perfection and since revealing she is currently trying to perfect the science behind her line, we expect this to be huge. Beckham previously worked with Estée Lauder and she highly praised that experience so wether she’s doing this alone or in collaboration with anyone is yet to be found out.
4 || Kourtney Kardashian
Given the success of her siblings’ beauty lines it comes as no surprise that Kourtney should venture in the same direction. Kourtney filed legal documents in January to register a cosmetics company under the name of “2Die4Kourt”. No details are yet available though rumour has it that her line might be a 100 percent natural and organic.
5 || Khloé Kardashian
Khloé worked with her sister’s company on a collection of lipsticks and blush palettes a while back and this may have spurred her decision to continue in the same line on her own. Khloé filed two trademarks recently for the names “KOKO Kollection” and “KOKO Kollection by Khloé Kardashian”. Insiders expect she will focus on sweat proof products and all-day-wearables being such a gym fanatic.
6 || Lindsay Lohan
Yet another celeb walking the ropes of the beauty industry is non other than mean girl Lindsay Lohan. She announced back in January that she’s working on her own beauty line and the first product to be launched will be a lipstick that does double duty as a cream blush.
7 || Serena Williams
A surprising entry here is the queen of the tennis courts Serena Williams. Williams reportedly filed documents to register “Aneres” which is basically the backward spelling of her own name. Her line is said to include makeup as well as skincare products including makeup removers, moisturisers, and perfume.
